Just after the Easter holidays year 4 made the long journey down to London. It was a fantastic day out where we visited the world famous pineapple dance studios where we learnt some cool, funky new dances, after which we went to the British museum to take a look at their Ancient Egyptian exhibit! We had a fantastic day out and learned lots in the process. Have a look at some of the pictures from the day below.
On Wednesday 28th of February year 3 and 4 were given the wonderful opportunity to go over to the site of the restoration work, currently being done at the Cenotaph at Bridgefoot. We met up with civil engineer Ryan who explained all the work that is going into repairing the Cenotaph and told us lots of interesting things about how the Cenotaph was constructed almost 100 years ago and what is now being done to keep it standing for 100s more years.
Year 4, as well the the rest of the school, had a fantastic day at Chester Zoo before half term. We saw lots of interesting animals learnt lots about them and even a few brave children ventured into the bat cave! Take a look at some of the pictures below!
