Key Stage 2 had some very special visitors this morning. We warmly welcomed a Pop Up Project, which involved the children time travelling through different decades, starting from the 1950s all the way through to the present day. We sang and danced to songs from various years, learning about different books from that time along the way. Some of us didn’t realise that some of our favourite books were actually written before we were born! A number of lucky children got to dress up as different characters, while we all were lucky enough to join in with dancing and singing!
BRRR… It was a cold forest school today but we still had an amazing time. During the session we made some amazing dens and played in the hammocks. To warm ourselves up, Mark lit a fire, reminded us of the safety rules, and we enjoyed marshmallows and hot chocolate.
We had an amazing day on Tuesday, completing various science experiments. Our favourite experiment was adding bicarbonate of soda to vinegar to create an exploding volcano!
