Today Year 3 had a fantastic day out to Chester to visit the Romans Museum. We learned all about life in the Roman times and we even got to see an archaeological dig, where Roman remains and artefacts were found in Chester. We then met our Roman soldier and went on a soldier patrol around the Roman gardens and in the remains of the amphitheatre. We even got to form a testudo which was a formation by the Roman army which was so hard to defeat and made them so successful! Here are some of our photos.
