Hello boys and girls, I hope you are enjoying the sunshine and are able to get some fresh air out in your gardens. I have been thinking of you all lots and I hope you are enjoying your Home Learning activities for this week.
Parents/Carers I’m sure you are all doing a fantastic job of helping your child at home with their Home Learning activities. This is a challenging time for us all, please do not worry if you do not manage to complete ALL of the activities on this page each week. Stay strong and keep safe 🙂
I have found another fantastic resource to help develop fine motor control. All you need is some playdough! Shonette Bason (An inspirational EYFS specialist) is running dough disco sessions at 9.30am each morning. All you have to do is subscribe to her YouTube channel ‘Spread The Happiness TV Channel’. This is completely free and will help to develop those muscles in your child’s fingers and support their pre-writing skills. It is also lots of fun – we do this in Nursery so I am sure the children will enjoy participating in it at home.
Do not worry if you don’t have any playdough at home. I will post a link for the recipe below so you can make some!
If playdough isn’t your thing, the same YouTube channel is live at 1pm each day to provide Play Based Story Challenge which also sounds like great fun and will help to develop your child’s learning and development.
Remember to keep checking our class page for updates and support with Home Learning.
Lots of love
