After our post on Facebook about acts of kindness and compassion, we received this lovely email from the Hinds family:
We hope you are all keeping well?
We watched the video on the school Facebook about compassion and thought we would send an email about what we have been doing as well as home schooling.
Mark has written a letter about lockdown for his cousin who is making a memory box. He wrote about what he’s been doing and how things have changed and that he misses school and his friends. Alex and Hannah have drawn rainbows for their auntie and next doors neighbour’s windows. Alex has written a letter for his friend at school that we posted yesterday to cheer them up.
We have been busy baking too and I have had the role of doing door stop cake drop offs to our
neighbours family and friends to help make them smile. We have had sweets delivered to cousins as they miss them and thought they might cheer them up.
We are also planning to bring all you amazing teachers and staff at school cakes when we are all back at school.
We hope you all take care.
The Hinds family
Well done to all of the Hinds family and thank you so much for letting us know what you have all been up to and for sharing your acts of kindness.
