Hello Year 3,

I hope you have had a lovely week! In case you didn’t know, there is a video on your new class page to introduce you to your teachers for next year! Take a look at the Year 4 page and watch a little message from your teachers there. Who do you think they will be?! https://lsj.org.uk/year4/10058/welcome-to-year-4/

Here are your Year 3 home learning tasks for this week;-

1.Daily Maths and English on BBC Bitesize

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zmyxxyc/year-3-and-p4-lessons

These lessons are recommended by the government and are set at Year 3 level. Make sure you are doing the Year 3 tasks and not the other year groups! I know some of you have made this mistake before!

2.TT Rockstars

https://ttrockstars.com/

Practice your times tables at least 3 times each week. By the end of Year 3 (which isn’t far away now!) you need to know your 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables off by heart so that you are ready for Year 4.

3. MyMaths

This week I have set you some revision work on our multiplication and division work. Please log in and complete the tasks I have set on there.

https://www.pobble365.com/

I am letting you choose any Pobble activity you want again this week. Have a look through the calendar and find one you like. Complete the usual sections (Story Starter, Question Time and Perfect Picture) for your chosen image. I know some of you have been really enjoying this task and have been sending me your brilliant work on Purple Mash!

8. P.E with Joe Wicks

https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1

Joe isn’t doing this everyday now sadly as he needs a bit of a break, but you can watch his older videos and re-do some of them!

There are also some really good videos on YouTube for children’s Zumba! We have been doing some of these with the children currently in school. Have a go, they’re good fun and good exercise.

9. R.E

Daily prayer from the Church of England
